Notice of Potential Delivery Delays: Plans, Documents, and Hard Tokens

Some of you may be aware of news regarding Purolator service disruptions due to severe weather and a significant backlog of deliveries caused by the increase in volume from the ongoing Canada Post strike. In order to prioritize critical shipments, Purolator made the decision to suspend shipments from some third-party courier companies.

What does this mean?

Teranet uses Purolator to fulfill deliveries of Plans and Documents, and has been sending Teranet Hard Tokens through the courier service since the Canada Post strike began. While Purolator has not suspended service for Teranet, some deliveries may be impacted by delays in transit, missed connections, and the surge in volume.

We may also experience longer wait times tracking your deliveries or making any address corrections, as the Purolator Support team is experiencing much higher call volumes.

The Canada Post strike has sparked shipping delays and strained many courier services across Canada, as volume of deliveries gets diverted. Purolator remains our best option for deliveries at this time.

Teranet Hard Tokens

If you are waiting for a Teranet Hard Token or if it is about to expire, we encourage you to use a soft token, a free and convenient option for user authentication. Soft tokens are easy to use, can be transferred between devices, and have a longer expiry date compared to hard tokens (14 years for a soft token vs. five years for a hard token). Contact Teraview Customer Service to obtain a soft token today.
