Registration Messages

In this newsletter, you will be provided with the solutions to some common questions in order to improve your Teraview user experience with the least amount of disruption to your workflow. We encourage you to review, print or save the following information for future reference.

Messages in Teraview identify problems that may prevent you from completing the task at hand.

Below are three messages that you may encounter during the Registration process and we also address how they can be resolved.

“Party To/From Completer requires EFT capability” while trying to register a document.

To obtain EFT Capability, you can either:

  • Ask another person who has access to the same Electronic Registration Bank Account (ERBA) to sign the document for completeness thus enabling you to proceed with your registration

OR

  • Apply for ERBA access.
    •  Click <insert link>to download Form 200, Authorized Group Services Form and submit the completed form to our Customer Service Centre by fax 416-360-6069 to get you set you up.

“You Have Exceeded Your Funds Limit” while trying to register a document.

  • If you have enough funds in your DAPP account and you are registering a transfer with other documents (such as a charge), you can try the following steps:
  • Ensure that the person paying for the registration (the name in the Completeness Signatory field) has sufficient funds in their Deposit Account Payment Plan (DAPP) to pay for the automated WRIT search at registration.
    • Register the transfer only.
    • Choose “Cancel” at the sub search screen. A Writs certificate will print out.
    • Attempt to register all of your documents again.
    • “Verification of Party To/Party From Completer signature failed.”

  • Remove the signature for completeness and re-sign the document.
  • Your document should register without further delay.
