Municipal Land Transfer Tax Admin Fee – REMINDER-16-11

Please be advised that as of April 1, 2016, MLTT transactions will be subject to a $75.00 (plus HST) administration fee, applied by the City of Toronto to cover the processing costs associated with MLTT transactions.

Make sure to include this charge in your closing fees, and ensure that your ERBA account contains sufficient funds to cover it.

This fee will not appear in the calculated Land Transfer Tax or Municipal Land Transfer Tax amounts in the application, but will appear, upon successful registration, in the Electronic Registration Activity Report and Docket Tax/Fee Summary Report.
