The time that is printed on the PIN Printouts created by the Teraview software is based on the internal clock of the client’s computer. Clients should ensure that the internal clock in their computer is set to the correct time and the appropriate time zone. The province of Ontario is comprised of two time zones. All Land Registry Offices , with the exception of Kenora and Rainy River which are in the Central Time Zone, lie in the Eastern Standard Time zone.

The time on the PIN Printout is not necessary to establish priority. Priority, under the Land Titles Act, is established at the time a document is receipted. This time can be verified by viewing a copy of the document.
