Important update to Name Search Service

Please be advised that the Name Search Service will be discontinued from Teranet eXpress effective May 2, 2026, as part of our commitment to protecting the privacy of Ontario property owners. This decision was made in consultation with the province and law enforcement, to ensure Ontario’s land registration data continues to be accessed responsibly and securely.
What this means for you:
- The Name Search Service will no longer be available through Teranet eXpress as of May 2, 2026.
- Property searches will continue by address or Property Identification Number for registered users.
- Search by name will continue to be available through approved channels for verified professional users, including platforms such as Teraview, GeoWarehouse, and PurView.
