An essential part of your electronic registration preparedness.
Teraview software makes use of electronic funds transfer for the payment of registration fees and, if applicable, Land Transfer Tax and other applicable taxes. The Authorized Account Representative authorizes Teranet to debit a specified bank account for these fees, and that account is debited with each registration that you submit.
As part of your preparation for electronic registration, you will need to identify an Electronic Registration Bank Account (ERBA), and provide Teranet with the authorization to perform the debits.
Guidelines for deciding which bank account to use can be found in the Article - Payment of registration fees and land transfer tax which can be found on the Law Society of Upper Canada website.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
- Select the ERBA Payment Plan Application to start the process.
- Provide the particulars on your bank account, and return the signed application with a void cheque to Teranet.
- Use the Authorized Group Services Form to name the individual PSP holders in your organization who should be given access to this account.
Your existing Teraview deposit account will continue to be used for title search and Writs Search fees.
