The privacy and security of your account information is
important to your business: it is also important to Teranet.
Unauthorized access to your account could result in the depletion
of your Deposit Account, or access to confidential
dockets and client information
Teraview software uses
public key cryptography to control access and to assign system
users unique electronic security identities. Public Key security
systems are based on mathematical formulae that are easy to solve
in one direction, but difficult to solve in the reverse. The e-reg system requires documents
to be signed and encrypted using these electronic identities.
Access is controlled by requiring each user to have a Personal Security
Package (PSP), consisting of a personal security profile (floppy
diskette with encrypted information) and a pass phrase. This is
analogous to a bank card and PIN. The Personal Security profile and pass phrase
will both be required to access the system.
System users must be authorized by both Teranet and the Teraview Account Holder
to obtain the codes required to access the system. This helps to prevent unauthorized
users from accessing your account. Authorization is obtained when Teranet
accepts the completed Application Forms
and verifies each Teraview user's identification. Once this process
is complete, their profile will be created and they should go to our Portas PASS
site to set up their unique pass phrase.

on how the personal information you provide in the Personal Security License Application
is used and protected.
