Viewing Crown Patents and Instruments in the Property Description

If you are searching in one of Ontario’s northern land registry offices, for example, Rainy River and you would like to view a Crown Patent that is mentioned in the remarks tab of the Teraview software, just type the instrument number in the Instrument request bar and press the “request” button.

If you are searching in one of the northern land registry offices and would like to see a description instrument listed in the property description, just type in the instrument number in the Instrument request bar and press the request button.

Currently, only land registry offices in northern Ontario will be able to view Crown Patents and descriptive instruments in the property description. This feature may be added to the remaining land registry offices in the future, so keep watch for future newsletters on this topic.
